Guided by leading experts, we’ve developed a thoughtful approach to working with children and families. We call it The N Approach, and it is shaped around seven core foundations that guide learning, relationships, and everyday experiences at N Family School.
The quality of early childhood education is closely linked to ongoing Educator development. Through the N Academy, Educators receive ongoing personal and professional learning that strengthens both practice and confidence.

Teaching strategies are guided by our core principles and designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Children are supported in learning through a variety of experiences and materials that reflect different ways of thinking and expressing ideas.
Family sits at the heart of everything we do. Through regular events and shared experiences, families are supported as they navigate key milestones, while building relationships and a sense of community.

Our learning program is designed from the ground up, built to respond to individual children’s development, interests, and needs. Learning is planned daily through a personalized approach, that adapts alongside children as they grow and change.
Our approach brings together modern research in child development and behavior, alongside insights from respected early childhood philosophies, including Reggio Emilia and the work of Jerome Bruner.

Every element of our early childhood education schools is intentionally designed to engage children and support families. Our environments aim to create an immediate sense of curiosity, comfort, and wonder from the moment families arrive.
Play sits at the heart of our learning approach, which was guided by the late Dr. David Whitebread, early childhood education expert of the University of Cambridge. Our N Curriculum is delivered through play-based experiences that encourage children to explore, experiment, and grow with confidence.
We combine trusted teaching methods with modern thinking on child development to create a learning approach that feels both grounded and forward-looking. While influenced by many early childhood theorists, two key schools of thought shape our practice.

Inspired by Bruner’s theory of spiral learning, ideas and experiences are revisited at increasing levels of complexity. Children explore concepts over time, deepening understanding as their thinking develops.

Educators explore ideas and topics alongside children, encouraging shared inquiry and discovery. Learning spaces, including the Reggio-inspired lab, act as a “third teacher,” supporting experimentation, creativity, and expression.
