Mathematics
Children will confidently count up to 30 with accuracy, and begin to understand the magic of cardinal principle.
We’ll successfully compare two groups of objects and identify which has "more," "fewer," or the "same".
Literacy
Children will confidently identify many letter sounds (phonemes) and start to blend them into simple words.
We’ll invite children to recall and discuss the main events and characters of their favorite story, exploring sequencing.
Understanding the World
Children will compare different countries and their diverse environments and communities, using descriptive language to contrast them.
We will explore the important roles of people within our local community, learning how doctors, firefighters, and farmers care for our world.
We will help children hone fine motor control, guiding them to master a tripod grip so they can proudly write some recognizable letters from their name.
Children will start initiating and maintaining conversations with adults or friends for several turns.
